OKay, (Duh) instead of making a statement about differences and processes alone, let's celebrate the aesthetics questions -- how people talked about the differences is also part of the framework of interpretation, but that observable structural differences, however filtered by our own interpretive and perceptual schemas, of considerable value in understanding the processes that existed at the time. Conditions and interpretive frameworks in dialogue -- could not ignore these, but could not view them at the same time.

Anyone who has been teaching for any length of time will know that the information you deliver is not the same as the information that students get.

Is there a Zen, Parker Palmer, Kierkegaard dimension to this? How about an emotional reinforcement and gratification framework here? Cordelia, the true but ignored?

Mark Twain and Kierkegaard? Is that really an odd combo? Hmmn.
